Promoter Gilbert Udoto said, "Gucci will be here Saturday performing." City commissioner Bob Langstaff wanted to block Gucci Mane's show. He said it's not the kind of performance that should be allowed in the Civic Center. That criticism actually gave the performer news coverage across the country, helping to sell tickets for the Albany concert. "People wondering why a person of this magnitude can be censored. This has never happened. The first amendment allows freedom of speech," said Udoto. It's a show Jasmine Jackson can't wait to see, and she's not alone. "My generation loves Gucci."
